  • As the largest rental community in not just the city of New York but the nation, we are committed to improving the community every day and making the property as energy-efficient and eco-friendly as possible.

  • Demonstrated commitment to being a sustainable, environmentally friendly, and healthy multifamily community by achieving LEED, Fitwel, and ENERGY STAR certifications for StuyTown, Peter Cooper Village, and Parker Towers (ENERGY STAR only). StuyTown and Peter Cooper Village are the first communities in New York state to be awarded LEED for Communities Platinum. 

  • Upgraded to LED lighting and installed lighting controls for all properties that increased energy efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions, equivalent to removing 946 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles off the road for one year.

  • Installed 174 electric vehicle charging stations at StuyTown/Peter Cooper Village and Parker Towers.

  • Promoted environmental stewardship and biodiversity through landscape plantings and urban forestry at StuyTown/Peter Cooper Village.

  • As the largest rental community in not just the city of New York but the nation, we are committed to improving the community every day and making the property as energy-efficient and eco-friendly as possible.
